Shengjie Qiu is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment at BNKC. Since beginning his career in 2017 after earning a degree in Environmental Design from OCAD, he has gained valuable experience in custom residential housing at a small Toronto firm, developing skills in digital drawings, model making, and research. Shengjie’s approach involves generating thoughtful design options and engaging in productive team discussions. He is inspired by his hometown’s historical Fujian Tulou buildings, nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2008, which sparked his passion for architecture. Outside of work, Shengjie enjoys photography, experimenting with various cameras. This hobby provides unique perspectives that enhance his architectural insights. Organized, artistic, and patient, Shengjie brings a fresh perspective to the BNKC team.
