“I love the intricacies, challenges, and fun that are inherent in architectural projects. It's a pleasure being part of the BNKC family that fosters an intimate and collaborative culture, inviting us all to engage openly in the design process and, well, in life in general.”

Chris brings over 14 years of architectural experience to BNKC, with a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, institutional, office, and recreational projects. As a Project Architect, he plays a central role in moving projects forward—coordinating consultant teams, executing design tasks, and facilitating clear communication between clients, contractors, and collaborators. Known for his calm, organized approach and collaborative mindset, Chris thrives in navigating complex challenges and seeing a project through from concept to completion.

Since joining BNKC in 2021, Chris has contributed to several key projects, including the additions and renovations to the historic Beth Sholom Synagogue, Clockwork at Upper Joshua Creek, Kitchener Working Centre, and most recently, a new YMCA in Calgary —one of his most rewarding professional experiences to date. He holds a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University and has been a licensed architect since 2017.

Outside the studio, Chris is a former Division 1 tennis player and two-time conference champion who now coaches on weekends. These days, his biggest motivator is his six-year-old son, who keeps him on his toes and reminds him daily why the work matters. Laid-back, fun, and reliable, Chris brings steady leadership and a strong sense of purpose to every project he takes on.
