Yvette is is a senior project architect at BNKC with over 20 years of industry experience to her role. Prior to joining BNKC, she led her own practice and worked with esteemed design firms such as Kasian, Ian MacDonald, and Architects Alliance. Yvette's approach to architecture is rooted in embracing complexity and considering various elements such as site, landscape, built form, and community. Her portfolio showcases a wide range of projects that go beyond conventional boundaries, including modern homes, urban rejuvenation initiatives, and master plans. She is driven by her passion for city building and a desire to have an expansive range in her work. At BNKC, Yvette is leading The Working Centre project, an adaptive reuse initiative in Kitchener that is addressing homelessness in a mass timber building that is targeting net-zero carbon. Her commitment to sustainable design is evident through her LEED Accredited Professional and Passive House certifications.
